Lea Gagon
Owner/Teacher

Lea King
is a graduate of Plymouth State University with a Bachelors of Science in Dance and Sociology. At Plymouth State University she was part of the Contemporary Dance Ensemble and the PSU Dance Team. Lea acted as Secretary, Vice President and President, of the dance team, her Sophomore, Junior and Senior years. While dancing at PSU, Lea danced under Joan Wiegers at places such as Suny Brockport in NYC, Marthas Vineyard, Boston University , University of Maine in Orono and other places all throughout New England . Lea was also a part of a piece that was put on five students chosen from PSU from the famous Amy Marshall Dance Company in New York . Lea is certified as a Latin and Ballroom Dance Instructor through the Melendrez Dance Studios in Miami , Florida and the Royale Palace Dance Studio in Manchester , NH . Currently, Lea is a paraprofessional at Parkside Middle School in Manchester , NH . She works with the Autism Program.. Lea King is the proud owner of Lakes Region Dance and has been teaching classes in the areas of jazz, ballet, pointe, and hip hop.  She looks forward to the future with Lakes Region Dance. 


Mary Lyons
Teacher

Mary Lyons is a graduate of Plymouth State University with a degree in Interdisciplinary studies of Dance and Health. She was a member of the Contemporary Dance Ensemble and was the vice president of the PSU Dance Team. During her time in Plymouth she also was chosen to dance with guest artist such as Amy Marshall and BattleWorks. Before Plymouth She was a Member of Concord Dance Academy's fisrt competition team where she recieved many awards and Joined in National Competions. Mary Is a teacher at Lakes Region Dance in areas such as Creative Movement, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, and Ballet. Mary looks forward to her 6th year at Lakes Region Dance.


Kristen Kesner
Teacher

Kristen Kesner began dancing at eight years old at the Rap 'N Tap School of Dance in Amesbury, MA under the instruction of Carolyn and Shantell Hanley.  Throughout the years Kristen participated in competitions, recitals and conventions.  She then became an instructor and began choreographing dances for younger students at Rap 'N Tap.  After graduating high school, Kristen attended Dean College to study dance.  She recieved an Associates in Arts and then transferred to Plymouth State University.  At PSU she recieved a Bachelors of Science in Dance and Health Education.  At Plymouth, Kristen performed in Martha's Vineyard at the well known Built on Stilts Dance Festival.  She also got the honor to work with great artists such as Lorraine Chapman and Tommy Neblett.  Kristen is very honored to be starting her 4th year at LRD and is looking forwrad to many more!


Ashly White
Teacher

Ashley May White is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a BA in Economics and a minor in dance. While at UNH she was a member of the dance company for four years. Ashley also was the recipient of the Jean Mattox Scholarship of Dance in 2005. Ashley choreographed and student directed for the student dance showcase for three years. Ashley began her dance training at Patti Eisenhawer Dance Studio in Franklin, MA. She then studied under Lenore Sousa (Cunningham) in the early days of Lakes Region Dance. She loves sharing her love of dance with her students and is looking forward to a great year!
